25-11-2019 #1We are selling our Mikini Mill after about 2 years of use, it is a fantastic machine with plenty of capability for a machine shop or the garage shop.

This machine is almost identical in size to the Skyfire VMC that is now being sold. It is rare to come across one of these machines over here now. Comparable to Tormachs but these run Linear rails and high class ball screws.

We are only selling it as we had an opportunity to upgrade to a much larger machine now we have moved into a new workshop unit and cannot justify the cost of keeping both sadly.

Perfect for anyone who is wanting to produce accurate parts, we have made everything from custom motorcycle pieces, to jewellery, and knife making components on this.

We have upgraded the internal lighting which is much improved, coated and sealed the tray with a 2k epoxy paint, and the machine is now running a much more capable coolant pump and sump system than the stock one it was supplied with.

The machine also comes with around 10 R8 holders (ER, Weldon, etc)

It is a 240v machine so will work straight off a UK supply no need for inverters or 3 phase.

We have cut Aluminium, steel, stainless, and Titanium on this machine with no issues at all.

The machine is very heavy for its size approx 1000kgs but is on industrial castors so can be moved around reasonably easliy and then feet lowered to level etc.

Machine is located in Nottinghamshire NG17 - Delivery could be arranged at cost but collection preferred. Please get in touch with me if you need any further information. The machine is ready for demonstration to anyone who would like to come an view the machine.

Price: £5500.00 as we are looking for a quick sale

26-11-2019 #2Looks a nice little machine. I'd be interested but have 2 others and trying to buy a house. Good luck with the sale.

26-11-2019 #3Mikini is the predecessor to Skyfire (IIRC same designer, but Skyfire is his own company, whereas Mikini was somebody else's company), and are good machines for what they are. Avoiding the rubbish customer service from AluminiumWarehouse since July '13.
