ive done quite a bit of work with old dongles in the past. not on cnc machines but other software that used them. often problems occurred when changing or upgrading pc or sw or even installing other unrelated software products. anti virus software can play havoc too. other issues can be caused by the computer date setting. try setting the date back 10 years or so.

    Hello Alan J

Many thanks for trying to help me with this very frustrating dongle problem.
I have done what you have suggested but unfortunately without any success, even after reloading the software.
So the only conclusion at the moment is that something has gone wrong with the dongle.
This was manufactured by Sentinel/Rainbow, that website then passes you onto Safenet-inc.com, then the trail goes to Thales, however they do not support Windows 98 any longer, thereby leaving people like me, stranded.

    Thanks again for trying.
    best regards
    Montegoman
