    Mitee-Bite make some excellent clamps which could augment a well designed fixture plate, I'm using the eccentric screw hexagonal clamps on several fixtures.
    You think that's too expensive? You're not a Model Engineer are you? :D

    Thanks for the info, those hexagonal clamps look like an excellent solution, nice low profile too. BTW, may I ask where you got them from in the UK? The only people I can see quoting prices are Raptorsupplies and the metric versions are pretty fancy money compared to the American thread parts

    +1 they work a treat for fixture plates and low profile.
