I've been past Grenoble a few times, and through it once.
I'm surprised I never got a fine for that trip, considering I went down one of the dedicated bus lanes. I still blame the satnav for that mishap

I was hoping to be in that area again this year, but not sure if the current restrictions are going to be lifted before summer season is over
