Hi all,

Just a short intro post - I've bought myself a chinese 3018 pro with the aim of smartening up a few of my home woodworking projects and producing a few custom bits for the family. Who knows, if it's a success then I might even try to sell a couple of bits on etsy and recoup the cost of the machine!
I'm a mechanical engineer by training, but long out of much practical practise (I turned to the dark side - sales!)
My electronic and electrical knowledge is definitely lacking so this is a good chance to hopefully learn a bit more through this machine.
