Put 'cutting a recording disc' into Google.
An optimist says the glass is half full, a pessimist says the glass is half empty, an engineer says you're using the wrong sized glass.

    Did that first Kit
not a lot of info about the process or the machinery.
As ever , collectors seem to be prepared to shell out fortunes for stuff which wouldn't interest me.

I am guessing that master would be cut in Laquer from the music tape so I presume the process is an NC process. Then subsequent discs would be pressed in vinyl from that.

I now hear that there are machine cut discs in Vinyl which I understand have far superior sound quallity. It is that process I am trying to find out more about.
