So I'm a complete newbie at CNC, trying to help a friend out with this machine, he's had it about 3 yrs was being helped by another friend who has sadly passed away due to cancer, the CNC came with xp desktop with ucancam including license ect, but the usb was with our friend who passed away...

Could anyone point me in right direction of software that will work that doesn't involve buying the 1200 new license??

Or is anyone willing to come to Crewe and give me a tutorial? I'll pay for days rate of say £100 just for some help.
