Hi,
I was part of this forum a long time ago when I was trying to get a Bridgeport Boss running on steppers which went well and has given a lot of use but time for an upgrade.
I've bought this mill
Controller is dead so have ordered Chinese servos, Lichuan A4 https://www.aliexpress.com/item/1005001733724036.html . I have a UC300eth so planning to use that with step+Dir.
I have some question about wiring if anyone could help Diagram shows L1 and L3 connected to 220v but which is live or is this for American single phase? I'm thinking of adding a transformer to step down 240 to 220 as the factory didn't recommend more than 230v.
Also what size breaker would be suitable for the 1.2kw drives/motors I see a current draw rated at 6amp for the motors but does this correlate to what the drives draw. Think I need an EMI filter as well for servos?
Thanks
