Thanks for those leads. It's not clear exactly what the TroGlass stuff is from how their description reads to me, might give them a ring tomorrow to clarify. Anyway the stuff from 908ltd looks more suitable as well as being more wallet friendly The other solution I suppose is to get some translucent white sheet, spray with matt black paint and engrave through that - though getting the right type of paint + primer could be a job in itself I suspect.
