long time lurker but recent new member.

based in devon and run a 10 x 5 2005 andi stratos as part of my day job manufacturing laminate / formica based materials for toilet cubicles and general furniture.

along side that , and to generally fill covid induced down time, i have my own little 3018 machine with linear rails running from an arduino board and a 500watt spindle which i use for general arty type stuff in wood, compact grade laminate and aluminium.

i posted a thread straight into the general chinese spindle category prior to introducing myself and i thought that may be frowned upon and hence this introduction now.

im hoping to get some advice re a new power supply for the generic chinese 500w dc spindle i have. current power supply blew up yesterday and im struggling to source a replacement without purchasing from the same part of the world again and potentially having something that could fry me and my machine in the blink of an eye.

any advice would be appreciated.
