Hi there.
I am a complete newbie to anything CNC. I build analog audio electronics (synthesisers) and I build contraptions which are motor driven so I build the PWM/MOSFET drivers for these. All of this is within bipolar 24v circuitry.
I have been gifted a long term loan of both a Sherline 2010 milling machine and a Sherline model 4410 lathe. They come without any of the controllers or drivers, but have all motors in tact. My first intention is to get the milling machine up and running. Then afterwards the lathe.
I'm hoping someone can point me in the right direction of a resource that can help me understand what I need to buy to get the milling machine running? Or maybe someone here would be willing to guide me through getting it set up. I'm used to electronics forums where I need to do research and learning myself also, i'm completely self taught apart from guidance from forums.
Thanks
Dazz
