So I use Vectric Aspire and have had no issues with a good few projects. Works fine.

Downloaded a Mayan calendar I want to engrave on a 60cm table top. I’ve spent the last few hours watch Aspire choke and keep not responding on both my crappy workshop pc and also my quite powerful home pc.

I was cursing Aspire as being a tin pot program not capable of anything slightly intricate. Only just realised my project size was set to 6000mm square! Set it to the appropriate 600mm and hey presto it calculates the tool paths in seconds!

Does anyone have a 6m CNC to cut my original settings?!

I've got one half that size but I can soon knock you a bigger one up if you got enough HobKnobs..
-use common sense, if you lack it, there is no software to help that.

Yes but do Taylors of Harrogate make a Yorkshire teabag big enough to go with it?
