Hi all, newbie old man Pete here. I’m going across the country to collect my Chester Champion V20 next week assisted by my brother and his Ford Focus estate. The mill is going to be too heavy for us to manage so I propose stripping it down into two or three parts. I thought I could remove the table and then if necessary split the column from the base. I’m not worried about all the re-setting up that will be required when I get it home, I’ve just got to get it here. Has anybody had similar experiences? How would you advise me to proceed? Thanks a lot for listening. Pete.
