Jonathan Gee here. As the title suggest I have just become a member and wanted to to say hello.
My background is in Industrial Engineering beginning at Loughborough Uni.
My current CNC experience is as the owner of EMG Precision and we specialise in CNC Spindle Motors and Tool Setters.

Not sure what else to say really? What's the vibe in this group? Is it pretty helpful and open?

You'll find the regulars here are very helpful and we even manage the occasional burst of humour! With a background like that I think you might find plenty of people interested in asking you questions as well.
