help moving mach3

I have mach3 with someone elses licence on it. I want to set up a new computer I have bought with a fresh install and buy mach 3 licence.
my problem is I have downloaded mach3 then moved the xml file across ok up to this point.
Then it would not work because it required microsoft framework.net.managed to sort that.
but now I have had to download the csimo_ip_m_software and struggling to get it to see controller.
If i switch the laptop on all is fine and machine runs great but as soon as i try to run new computer setup i get nothing and it is all down to the csmio_ip_m plugin ?
any help greatly appreciated

Have you set up the network card on the new PC to use a static IP address.? If not then it won't see the IP-M
