Hi Everyone!
In a shop owned by a friend, he just have one full time machinist to run a Haas VF-2SS mill and ST-20Y lathe. His machinist is great, but he does not know what he does not know and we struggle to learn new ways of doing things. He currently needs a source of information for speeds and feeds.
One thing that brings up our thoughts of finding someone to consult with is that we plan to purchase a rotary table (HRT210). His machinist is concerned that he is not familiar with how to program it. What kind of options are out there for having a consultant for setting up machining programs? Do any of you work with consultants?
Thanks in advance!
