I have a 9 x 20 hf lathe and have installed a stepper for variable feed. It works great but i would like to be able to turn of the motor off with a switch when it is not needed temporarily. I think i just jump 5 V to enable + and then install a switch between enable + and - . I am not sure if this is correct . I need some confirmation or The correct way to do it. A schematic is worth a thousand words . I would hate
to destroy my new driver (DM556t ) Thanks in advance .Dan
