Hi All
We move to France this year and in the move my computer that contols my CNC was damaged.
I had most of the disc I needed, but I am having problem with the limits. My limits only work when they are touched and I back off. Before they would bounce what have I missed??
Regards
Mike

You need to explain a little more because if they stop the machine and then you back off they work again then they are doing what they should be doing.?
-use common sense, if you lack it, there is no software to help that.

Sorry I may have miss led you . I can touch the limit switch but nothing happens, when I pull off the switch the machine stops. If I click on home X, Y, Z or home all I get a message Requested home axis home switch active please , can't read the rest of message. I am running Mach 3 scheen set 2010.

Basically the principle of this image below is the same for everything.
You connect your relay to your control for operation of on/off coil.
You split 1 of the power lines between the pump and it's plug and fit the relay ouputs inbetween there.
In the case of the image the positive line has been split and connected to the relay COM & NO.
With a SSR it would just go to the 2 output contacts.
Active low/Active high will be used to set relay as closed whilst machine on or closed when off depending on when you want the pump to operate.
This is 12v system for arduino. Instead of 12v you would just be using your 250v. Wiring is the same regardless.Last edited by dazp1976; 02-09-2021 at 10:40 AM.
