I am 18 months into the revamp of my cave and it was a project stalled due to my health issues. I have decided that I need to get my CNC router working again and finish off the rewiring and the dust extraction system, so I have kicked my arse into gear.
I am using these wiring boxes from CPC to put the controls on the desktop.
They are not cheap at £6 ish a throw, but I think they make a stylish job of a control panel. The top pic is the plate for the SuperPid Control panel and I have just spent 4 mind numbing hours making an extension cable for the display -50 SIL crimped pins. All sharp and awkward little feckers. I cannibalised a Centronics printer cable to give me a 25way cable (on the basis I am never going to get a Centronics connected device again)
Cheers,
Rob
