Stepper motors will quite happily run at 80degC.
Not being able to hold your hand on them after 45 minutes isn't of any concern. If they were getting that hot within 10-15minutes, I'd be concerned, but not after 45 minutes.Avoiding the rubbish customer service from AluminiumWarehouse since July '13.
