Hello,
I am wondering if anyone has had luck setting up the RS232 Serial Communication for the Baldor Flex Drive. I've ensured that I'm using a null modem cable and as far as I know, it should be as easy as plugging a cable into the RS232 port on the driver and then using a RS232 to USB converter into a PC. I have verified that the cable works as expected.
I'm using Putty to initialize the serial communication and can open a terminal, but when typing, nothing is echoed back to me, which leads me to suspect that the connection with the motor driver has failed.
I would greatly appreciate any help anyone can offer with this.
Thank you.
