    Hello,

Wanted to ask, is it possible to use rotary encoder instead of manual pulse generator? In the cnc controller's manual there is this scheme:

Had anyone tried this? Or is it only possible to use mpg?

An MPG is just a rotary encoder with notches for each pulse so you get some physical feedback from the notches as you turn it.
