Hi all! I recently bought a Roland PNC 2000 and 3000 at a local flea market.
Roland PNS 2000 was never used. To start working with it, I had to assemble a computer on WinHP.
Roland PNTs 3000 with traces that it was used. Haven't been able to get it to work yet. My roland does not have a front control panel
My experience with cnc machines was only in using my 3D printer.

It has a z80 processor which interfaces the stepper drivers via an interface chip.
You could replace that chip with a custom circuit board and wire it in to Mach 3.
There is a group on FaceBook where you can find the parts.
Without the control panel this could be your only hope.
    best, Robin
