Hey mate, I had a similar issue when setting up my Opt Lasers kit on my WorkBee. The problem is most likely the clearance—especially with an 18mm spoilboard. The laser needs about 60mm working distance, so if it's hitting the board, you might need to adjust the mounting height or lower the spoilboard a bit.
Also, make sure you're using the right magnetic mount designed for the WorkBee. Some mounts sit higher than others, which could be causing the issue. If you're stuck, I'd definitely reach out to Opt Lasers support—they’re pretty helpful.
You can also check their WorkBee Laser Upgrade Guide. Let me know how you get on!
