My name is Alex and I have joined this forum today.
I am about to tip my toe into the world of cnc routing to help make jigs and templates for my hobby, which is making acoustic musical instruments .
Forums like these , with there wealth of expertise knowledge and support have been a massive help and source of enjoyment to me with my ever changing interests and hobbies over the years.
So as a man on the very step into cnc I was wondering if anybody had any suggestions or thoughts on which machine to buy?
I would like at least 750 x 750 working area and am on a budget of around £2000
I have been looking at the oozinest work bee but feel I may one day require a bit more than 44mm in the z range for cutting acoustic guitar necks etc but not sure if this is possible on my budget
I’m happy to look into second hand options also.
Any thoughts or suggestions would be gratefully appreciated
