    Hi,
I've been tinkering with CNC mills and lathes for a couple of years and Im looking to either pick up an auction bargain or build my own CNC machine for small aluminium parts. I run a fishing tackle business and want to make custom products for people.

    Welcome to the forum!

If you decide to go down the build your own route, there are a few of us down South, so if you want to pop round and chat all you have to do is bring Hobnobs!

  4. If you are planning to buy a CNC machine from an auction, it is essential to do your research thoroughly. Look for machines that meet your specific size, precision, and capabilities requirements. Note the machine's condition, necessary repairs or upgrades, and the manufacturer's reputation. Auctions can be a great source of bargains, but it is essential to evaluate the machine carefully to ensure it suits your needs.
