second hand axyz 6010 - icut problems

Hi

I'm new to the forum and i hope its ok to ask for help!

I purchased a second hand axyz 6010 cnc with atc and icut software for contour cutting.

We have tried uninstalling and reinstalling the software for the icut but are running into issues. Please see attached and help / advice would be greatly appreciated

There are several other threads about the battle to get an AXYZ machine running.Take a bit of time and read them.

First of all you need to get that RS485 working correctly or you won't be able to send the programme to the controller.The computer isn't necessary once the programme has been loaded into the controller as the files can be selected and run from the console.

Have you used a CNC router before?Do you have experience of using icut?

Hi thanks for your reply. Yes we have always run gerber machines before though - still run a 408 on a daily basis.

We have no experience in using the icut though. The machine itself is working fine apart from the atc which axyz are coming to fix hopefully.

My increasingly distant recollection of the AXYZ controller is telling me that there may well be a command that needs to be executed to activate the ATC.If you have the manual for the machine,it will be in there -F30somethig I believe.I hope you have enough information to get the machine working,but be sure to learn the quirky system of setting spoilboard height and material surface before cutting anything.It could mean a new spoilboard if you don't get it right.
