Hi all, I would like to know if anyone knows the answer to a concern with my 3040 machine.
First of all it’s a 3040T-DQ 3D which I have hardly used and it’s sat around for years until now, I had it running using the LPT1 parallel port and my Mach3 licensed version but now those computers are long gone I thought I would resurrect this machine for small bits as I was quite good for this.
This machine also has next to the parallel port a USB type B you know the square port used on printers and I have a Mach3 USB disc which I have used with my mill, large router and lathe, but I can’t seem to get it to work with this machine.
It has a JP328C board I have had it working with my Windows 10 64bit laptop using the Planet CNC USB software via the USB cable and it runs fine but I only have 25 lines of data and I really want to run it on Mach3 as it makes life easier.
Although I have the Planet CNC installation disk I don’t seem to be able to find the equivalent RnR driver as used on my Mach3 machines fitted with the Mach3 USB breakout board.
    Any assistance will be welcome.
    Many thanks
    Len.
