Hi all,
struggling to find any documentation about how to go about controlling a 1.5kw vfd spindle?
Also I have a killerbee, and I would like to have a limit switch on each motor on the long y axis treated individually so it can home the axis, ie move the motors to stop when they are in a individual point as opposed to manually moving each axis when the machine is off to get the gantry level.
Sorry if im not making sense

This suggests that it can control PWM fans so probably you could use the PWM to generate a variable DC voltage to feed into your VFD.

Hi John, yeah seems to be a few people going down that route but if in honest its swaying me away from the duet the more i look into it. It seems like a nice cheap solution to get hobbyists into cnc machining but when you start to look into the more traditional cnc commands and operations then this just falls short and lots of cumbersome workarounds are needed to achieve what a normal cnc control does out of the box if that makes sense.
