I have a couple of CNC lathes and I'm about to rebuild an ELU 860 router.

I've been running an EMCO PC Turn 55 for a few years, still running on Windows 98 with all the original control. I wish it had the 8 station tool holder not the 6 station, but it works well and using wincam with it is a reliable system.

I've recently converted a boxford Duet to Mach3. It has the external control box and I kept that to provide power to new stepper drivers and control the motor. I'm not planning to much milling on it besides trimming down the plate that attaches and holds the drilll bits so it can remain in place whilst I have access to 3 of the turning tools.

Today I bought an ELU 860 CNC. It doesn';t have a spindle with it but I believe everything else is there appart from the controller. I have the power supply and board that I think rectifies the AC and controlls the steppers. It looks like it also has the homing switches attached. I don't have a circuit diagram so for now I'm replacing the controll, drivers and power supply. It will run on Mach3 for now. The plan for later in the year is to switch to Mach4 for the Boxford Duet and the ELU 860.

I'd like to build a bigger CNC lathe, thats one for the future though.
