Depends on your budget and the kind of work you plan - no idea of either, so how long's a piece of string etc but if you want to run out of the box, perhaps something like Syil, Tormach, a used Haas or those cnc4you machines perhaps (I have no experience of them)? If you plan to use it in a business, you need to know it's going to work dependably and should have a business plan that supports that level of investment. The rest of us make do with what we have, which is probably the point of it!
My main cnc mill is a 1980s Shizuoka - beautiful, robust machine I retrofitted with Centroid controls. Originally cost more than a typical house but I got it for scrap price. No business in its right mind would rely on such a machine but for the likes of us, it's a wonderful solution.
