The spindle is a very heavy-duty unit with a strong bearing setup and continuously variable transmission, giving a useful speed range from 50 RPM up to 3000 RPM — suitable for a wide range of machining work.

The spindle motor is 2 HP single phase, and can be run using an inverter drive for even more spindle speed control and enable single phase operation.
