Total newbie!

Hello to all. So I’m Marc. I’ve done some manual machining in the past on manual mills and lathes but never got in to CNC. Ok with tech but I’m no coder or likewise. I’d love to get into cnc as a hobbyist and turn out stuff for friends and family… maybe the odd commission. I don’t have a great budget but I’m looking at the genmitsu range, 3020 or 4040 pro max. I’m really confused as to what software is best to use and what to run it on… I use MacBook for most things. I’m afraid I’ve been tech blinded by the sheer volume of information on YouTube and the net in general, I just need some common sense tips if that’s possible?! A pleasure to have been accepted. Do you mean CAD/CAM software? Just to be clear.
