What drivers, and what is the DC voltage at the driver?
four drivers from one PS407 is cutting it fine.
For three axis with the PM542 we suggest two PS407 power supplies and this is the same for four axis.Visit Us: www.automationshop.co.uk

sorry did not make it clear i did have 3 ps407 supplys but now only running 2 and drivers are pm542 x 4
so running 4 drives from 2 ps407 not all axis running at the same time at the moment lol using rotory table not using Y but driver powered
might unplug the driver
have to reconnect the power supply togive you voltage at driver forgot what it was ???

45.8V is too high.
The PS407 should be about 40V, can you double check?Visit Us: www.automationshop.co.uk

ok, can you check the other power supply to see what the voltage is.
This seems a bit high, and could be faulty?
Are you sure it is not a ps487?Visit Us: www.automationshop.co.uk

Strange, they should be 40V and 0A and 38V at 7A.
Can you check the AC, maybe you AC is very high?Visit Us: www.automationshop.co.uk
