    Hi,

    I am relatively new to machining, had a peatol lathe for a while but not done much with it. I bought an x2 mill last year and am getting close to finishing a couple of steam engines.

    I found this forum while looking for options to fit a power feed for my peatol lathe.

    I started looking at manual leadscrew, then a dc motor with variable control, then thought, single axis stepper!

    Trouble is, I havent found anything suitable yet!
