Hi guys, I'm a stone mason and rarely use power tools any more complex than a grinder, router or polisher (or spinner as we call 'em).
However i've always been interested in engineering and am intrigued by the home made CNC machines i've seen dotted around the net.
I hope to get the opinions and advice of the pro's.

Hi masonman and welcome to the site. There are some very large CNC machines for processing stone. A mate of mine has one for grinding, polishing and cutting granite worktops.. it can handle very big pieces up to 5m x 1m
