Hi,
I have a rel old boxford cnc lathe (a big one), and currently trying to make or purchase a controller to get it going, not an easy task, as its DC servo motor driven with glass scales on axis and rotary encoder on chuck, all good kit but 1980's or earler !!
Also 1 motor and controller burnt out, so got a new 3 phase servo motor but no controller.
Think I have enough challenges to keep me busy !!! you see why I need help, possibly in white coats !!

Hi there and welcome to the site. Thats a bit of a challenge you have set yourself, will be interested to see how you get on. Putting up a build thread with some pics is the quickest way of getting people to advise you...
