Greetings. I've been designing / fabricating automation equipment for many years (40), and continually like getting the different perspectives and approaches to problem solving from the many creative people in the machining field. Though I have been machining for many years as well, I don't consider myself a machinist in the true snese. I have a small shop, lathe, miller, grinder, saw and a fair amount of tooling, some made, some purchased, and have been self-employed for about 22 years. All of my equipment is the older, manual style. I do a fair amount of gunsmithing, too. Besides learning from the talents and skills of others here, I hope to be able to contribute some of my experiences in the designing, machining and fabrication area. I'm looking forward to this experience.
