I got this screen off ebay from a guy selling a fair few of them, all that was for sale was the screen - no stand and the monitor was listed as making a noise from the inside and it was suggested that is was a "Cap".
Sweet so I poped it all out the box and sure enuff the monitor is making the noise, so i did plan to open this baby up and see if i could locate what the issue was.
Using the built-in menu screen i was guessing the noise was coming from the PSU for the lights, sure the brightness was set to 55 i turned it up till i got to 75 and the noise faded out and has been since !
That Will Do Me for less then £100 on a £200 + monitor from new.
Still dose anyone have any experience with an issue like this or an idea of what it could actually be?Last edited by Lee Roberts; 18-07-2017 at 09:29 AM. Reason: removed dead links
