I have a good experience in CNC machine tool use, but especially in laser materials processing. My day job in is the design, build and use of industrial laser processing systems using CNC and machine vision control systems. I am looking for hobby level systems for myself, on a far more economic scale, to have a play with.

Hi Matt and welcome to the site. We have a few members here interested in a hobby-scale laser cutter (myself included, when other projects/time permit). Sounds like you can add to the pot of acquired knowledge!
