Just to put you in the picture...this will be my first CNC build. The plans are in my head...it'll be an evolution...it'll also be rather small (mainly because I have 6 free steel rods - with bushings- that are only 12" in length).
I think i would use some M6 if the machines going to be that small.

I am CheekieMonkies, the blocks i posted there are 50x50, the blocks on the link to ebay are 50x20mm, the ones i posted as cheekiemonkies are the first ones i ever made, i ended up halfing the size on them because i didnt notice much diffrence it how much connectivity was going on.
