So I hear everyone recommending using Delrin nuts as a cheap alternative to ballscrews for it's unique properties as a lead screw nut.
I see very few (if any) mention making a delrin nut for say M10 threaded rod ....why not?
20mm diameter Delrin rod seems cheap...it's not exactly HSS, so should be easy to tap...has nobody tried?
Comments?
