Thread: Hello from New Zealand

I'm a student studying software engineering, but I spend most of my time working on my CNC. I have managed to combine the love of CNC with my programming knowledge and I'm currently programming a new CNC controller software for Windows, with the good looks and ease of use of EMC and the features and power of Mach 3.
I hope to one day release it and give the hobby community a bit more of a choice when it comes to Windows CNC controllers.
Cheers,
Josh

Hi Josh and welcome to the site. Thats a big challenge, writing a CNC controller to rival the big 2... (though our member Robin seems to be happy to write his own  ). Will be interesting to see it 'in the fleah' so to speak... plenty here to beta test it for you!
