    True, I might have been a bit quick to assume that he wanted to run the motors optimally. It would be cheap. I think it's the 3Nm motors... so they would have to be used in Bipolar-series which doesn't help matters.

    I started off with 1nm motors and a unipolar stepper driver on my milling machine. It worked, but snails go faster than the 1mm/s it did.
