Hi guys,
I've just registered today, as yesterday I enrolled at college on an introductory CNC Part Programming course. I don't really have much experience of doing this. I did a small amount later in my school years.
I fancy adding another string to my bow, I'm a keen engineer, excellent with computers so I thought this would be a good route to go down. My passion is racing motorcycles. I work for a World Endurance race team at weekends and also build track based specials as a hobby.
I have a vision of working for myself, using a CNC machine to create bespoke motorcycle racing chassis parts and I figured this course would be a good place to start. I reckon upon completion of this course and possibly the next more advanced one I can start applying for CNC machinist jobs.
Can anyone give me an insight on what to expect with this course please?
Cheers
Tom
