Hi all

I'm just about to start building my 1st CNC machine.

I've not used one before, but I know a bit about PCB post processing and gerber, so I should be sort of OK with the G-Code basics.

I'm planning on building 2 machines.
and 8 x 4 for routing full sheets of wood
and a smaller one for experimenting with PCB isolation milling, and I want to have a go at milling Aluminium.

Both machines I will use Linux and its free software offerings initially until I feel I am constrained by them. Then maybe V-Carve pro or something

The end goal is to make the machines pay for themselves quickly, and then pay the bills for me :tup:

No doubt I'll be asking lots of questions as I get started
