09-05-2009 #2No, I was actually thinking of the Hemsworth boy. That ballscrew is exactly the same as the one I have on my X axis but a THK to boot! They say it comes with the bearings and mounting blocks too. Damn thing is ready to go and it would just drop into a machine the size he wants to build at a fab price.

10-05-2009 #3Damn, i was watching this with 3 hours to go. So tempted to go for it. 5am now just looked again and it didnt sell, is anyone is thinking about making an offer ? Also only just noticed its a 25mm OD ballscrew is that a bit big for a cnc router ? Lee

10-05-2009 #4It's perfect for my router. I was going to go for 20mm but Gary had no stock and offered 25 and you know sometimes, you just stand back and you instinctively know something is "right"? Well this looks absolutly "right" on my machine. That would have been perfect for Dean's router's X axis or a smaller Y axis driven from the centre (or a Huge Z axis ). ).

Cannot believe that did not sell :geek: .....Must be the recession.

14-05-2009 #10I see he has a step4 router and a link to the step4 page, handy because I was given a brand new one a couple of weeks ago. It's about 4 years old but the guy can't get it running on all 3 axis and has given up with it.
