New to this forum so somebody may be able to help. My primary interest is Woodturning but I have a Myford ml 7 as well. I recently got a Meddings MB4 mark 2 drill , very dirty and uncared for but all parts in good order. Everything now back 'as new' except chuck.

It had a Cardinal mark 2 chuck which needs to be disassembled and cleaned. Does anyone have any idea how to do this. On the back of the chuck there is a series of small holes in a circle. Not sure whether it can be 'drifted' apart or if there are threads in there somewhere.
