Hi All.
Can anyone tell me please if i can attach a FK12 Bearing onto a Lead screw first and then screw the bearing onto a motor mount?.
I want a substantial motor mount with plenty of material so i might not be able to get access to the backing nut to tighten it when
it's in the mount.
Many Thanks in advance for any replies.
Regards,
Mark.

Mark do you have a drawing of what you have in mind? That would allow us to see what you asking and therefore be able to give a more useful answer to your question.
You are using 16mm leadscrews?

Thanks Michael for responding.
yes i'm using 16x5mm lead 1Mtr screws, Ian has said it's possible to fit the FK12 bearing on first and then bolt this to the side of the motor mount.
Cheers,
Mark.

Yes fit the FK mount first. Spacer ring, FK mount, spacer ring then nut, then fit it into your motor mount then the four bolts and your done.

my thanks Ian for your reply, it just makes a tidier job to combine the bearing onto the motor mounting.
Cheers,
Mark.
