This just came through on the Mach3 Yahoo group and I thought it might be of interest to anyone with a gantry type mill.

Axis Bellows

Basically a bit of origami which could save your precious ballscrews and slides from the effects of coolant/swarf etc.

Have a look at his build log to see the bellows in action.

I found it fascinating anyway.
